The Babe at My Back Has Her Eye on Me. I'm Done For., Vol. 1

The first time loner high schooler Sandai spoke to Shino, the cutest girl in his class, was after a series of unfortunate events. After discovering the helpless Shino stuck and soaked in a ditch, Sandai immediately comes to her rescue, even bringing her home so she can borrow his shower and clothes. It seemed like a simple act of kindness to Sandai, but for Shino it was so much more.

Suddenly, Shino is talking to Sandai and hanging around him as if they’re friends—or maybe something more?! Confused as to why the class cutie has her eyes on him, Sandai is sure this is some kind of trick. But he quickly learns there’s so much more to Shino than her perfect appearance. In fact, Sandai is the first guy she’s ever had a proper conversation with! Before he realises it, Sandai begins having feelings for Shino.

Can a total loner and a social butterfly build a friendship that might lead to love?
