Kaiju No. 8, Vol. 2

Kafka has made it into the Defense Force, but passing the exam was only the beginning.

Kaiju No. 8, Vol. 2 follows Kafka as he tries to survive life as a cadet while hiding the most dangerous secret in Japan: he is also Kaiju No. 8. With Vice-Captain Soshiro Hoshina watching him closely and a new humanoid kaiju moving in the shadows, Kafka's first real mission quickly becomes a test of loyalty, nerve and control.

A tense next step for the series, mixing rookie training, squad action and the first signs of a much larger kaiju threat.
