Burst Angel Vol.1

Witness the birth of the legendary Burst Angel squad in this action-packed prequel to the hit anime on Crunchyroll. From the creator of Knights, Minoru Murao reveals the origins of fan-favorite characters with this girls-with-guns masterpiece for Shonen manga fans. Burst Angel Volume 1 marks the beginning of the beginning.

This prequel to the hit anime sees a timid Takeru’s life take a sudden turn when he crosses paths with Jo, an ace sharpshooter, and the kind-hearted Meg. It marks the first steps towards them joining up with the rest of the gang and becoming a fully-fledged team. This first encounter will provide fans with an even deeper insight into their favorite characters, and the story of how the Burst Angel team came together and became a powerful force in a dystopian world.

Action and danger have always been a part of Jo and Meg’s life, as the dynamic duo operates ‘Jack Of All Trades’, their business that requires them to thwart criminals, recover stolen goods, recover stolen treasures, and search for missing pets to earn a sweet buck. The origins of how the team gathered to become a force to be reckoned with and the intricacies of Minoru Murao’s characters are explored even more deeply than they are in the Crunchyroll sensation. Whether you are a fan of the anime, the girls-with-guns genre, or Shonen manga, this first volume and prequel sees brilliant battles bring a group of chaotic characters together.
